There are a number of tools for collaborative writing both inside and outside the classroom. These include using word processors, Wikis, Blogs and other computer software such as Mind Mapping software, Movie Maker, Poster software, Argument software and Story Book software all of which can develop learners’ writing skills.

There are many activities that can be worked on around word processors in the classroom. These can be variations on dictation/dictagloss as well as creative activities using some of the software referred to above.
